9. Pay per Click Advertising and Affiliate Marketing
The advent of Pay per Click advertising, in particular Google AdSense, has meant that the web site owner no longer necessarily needs to choose and recommend particular products in order to run a profitable web site.
Instead, it is now possible to concentrate on creating informative and useful content that brings visitors to our site who are hungry for our knowledge. An income can then be derived from those visitors with the use of Google AdSense code on particular pages. This will serve up relevant contextual advertising and a payment is made for each ad that is clicked.
It is also possible to combine our own products or services and or Affiliate Marketing with pay per click advertising thus providing more than one possible revenue streams.
